If you run Facebook ads, then you’d know that you can search the “Browse Detailed Targeting” keywords in Facebook Ads Manager.

There is approximately 2,000+ keywords in those lists.

It is horrendously hard to copy them out.

I saved you a ton of time: each month, get the direct download link for the .XLSX file of the entire 2,000+ keyword list taken directly from “Browse Detailed Targeting” in Facebook Ads Manager for FREE here: https://rebrand.ly/50i5hpi

And of course, beyond those, there are many, many more!

I estimate there to be hundreds-of-thousands of targetable keywords and phrases on Facebook, but nowhere near infinite, nor what matches Pages and Groups either.

Only Facebook engineers know what the Facebook Ads database size is.

In an audacious attempt to track every targetable keyword and phrase available in Facebook Ads in that hundreds-of-thousands estimate range, I have built a feature in my Hidden Facebook Ad Targeting software that does just that:

It saves every verified keyword or phrase into it’s database, and eventually, will hold every keyword or phrase that was once targetable on Facebook Ads.

v3.16.0 now done!

The next iteration of this will be to allow users of the software to browse/download this list of (non-duplicate) keywords and phrases to help them with starting point suggestions.

I think this would be very useful for Facebook Ad agencies, and to a lesser extent, brand users — do you think this would be useful?

The next iteration after that, and likely the most powerful, will be the ability for users of this software to browse/download this list of (non-duplicate) keywords and phrases based on industry, similar users have found (anonymously of course) help them with starting point suggestions.

Would this also be useful?

If you have no idea what I am on about with this Hidden Facebook Ad Targeting software, it finds and lists the thousands of demographics, interests or behaviours that are hidden in the Facebook Ads Manager interface, yet are still available to target — this ultimately means less competition for bids, more relevance to audiences, and less ad costs.

And, I am starting to roll it out for free for a short period of time (as I iron out bugs), so if you interested in a free account (no credit card required) to help you find no-so-obvious targeting criteria, then let me know.

As it is free, all Id like in return is feedback on the software.

It will become paid very soon.
