Here is a quick summary of what channels are working for marketing on Social Media from June 2023 (taken from the dozens of accounts I manage)…
• Most Reach: Twitter Commenting, Facebook Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn Posts, YouTube Shorts (YouTube Shorts was the only change from last month)
• Best new Followers/Reach: Medium, LinkedIn (LinkedIn in, Youtube out)
• Best new Likes/Reach: Instagram, Facebook (Facebook in, TikTok out)
• Most Engagement: Facebook, Instagram (Instagram in, TikTok out)
TL;DR = Short, vertical videos and text of all lengths are the best bang for your buck.
*By “Reach” I don’t mean potential reach like traditional channels — this is actual consumption in-feed, even if the person scrolls past, they at least see it.
