Why Instagram Reels Won’t Be A Success…

Instagram has released “Reels” to take on TikTok.

Likee has been around for a while and still hasn’t gained traction.

And there is no reason why Instagram Reels magically will!

Think about it for a second…

Instagram is pure fake, which is the complete opposite of why people use TikTok.

Instagram simply doesn’t have the same demographic.

But Instagram has billions of users.

Blah, blah, blah.

Google+ failed miserably.

I recall being a conference and a Google Exec was saying how successful Google+ would be.

I loled.

I didn’t know if they were delusional or just toeing the company policy line.

(Likely both).

But we all know how that turned out…

Even a dumbass could see Google+ was never going to be popular.

Come on now, coaxing people to join your social network because they use your email service.

Lolz, like I said.

Facebook tried a LinkedIn copy called Branch Out and Failed.

Like, who uses Facebook for business, except an idiot like me!

Facebook also tried a TikTok rip off called Lasso and it was lame, because only Boomers are on Facebook.

Zuckerberg would be better off just buying TikTok, like he did with Instagram.

Oh wait, Facebook tried to buy TikTok a few years back and failed.

Microsoft bought Skype and fucked it up.

If Microsoft buys TikTok, I am unsure if they will fuck it up (but it’s likely).

But what I know for sure is: TikTok users won’t go to Instagram Reels, nor will Instagram users make Reels popular.

Remember, Instagram is where you go when you want to fantasise, not have fun or be authentic.
